| After their Split with "Anal Whore" and "Tumour" the first Full-Length of the toiletgrinders "Urine Festival" appears. What is going to be offered to the listener are 66 tracks of ultra quick gargle noise without any pardon. The song length ranks on average from four seconds up to one minute. Exception forms the last song "Osmotic Diarrhoea" which shows a term of 30 minutes. Indeed, this forms a filling work with way to long dialogue frazzles and a cheap, ultra long construction which is probably used to stretch the full runtime of the album artificially (the good piece runs, at least, more than one hour, a real rarity in the grind sector). However, the first half hour is very hearing-worthy. Indeed, the drum computer which was put on hyper blast is no musical masterly achievement, because the same tones are generated mostly only fast and in the same rhythm, but however, it's a good accompaniment formed through the relentlessness. The voice is a good proof of how far the human voice can be distorted by means of various shifters, because if one takes it exactly, it sounds (very entertaining) like flushing a toilet. Another characteristic of Urine Festival is that no guitars were used but only one artificially generated (of course very deep) tone to create the melody. In plain English this means that here there is no melody noticeable only flushing sounds and unceasing drum sounds. Those who like the sound should prepare oneself for a one-hour journey into the depths of this urinal pressed on CD, all noise friends should conduct themselves the part anyhow to mind. Intros there are, fortunately, just a few which if they appear are only running for a few seconds unlike some other grind bands that use intros ranging for more of the half of the song. So all together, this is one clear recommendation to all noise maniacs, toilet lovers and everybody, who is simply searching for new sick sound. I for one will now sit down on the toilet and leave my blockage with this disc simply flushing away. Bon appétit! |
