Maniac Neil, the gore psycho from Portland, Oregon (USA) was also occupied beside bands like Whore with the creation of the one man gore grind band "Maniac Killer". On his sole release "Amusing Anecdotes For The Depraved" he offers 43 Tracks of blasting goregrind to the listener. But there aren't only a well programmed drum-machine and stunning, deep guitars but amazingly shifted vocals and deranged screams, which harmonize perfect with this wall of music. The short tracks are underlined by many intros which are quite funny at times. There's nothing to complain about the cover artwork and also the production is clean. Unfortunately, the listener gets bored after maximum 25 tracks (which have quite genuine and dark humorous names by the way). That's why it's best to listen to this album in several parts, so that it keeps being a wonderful, hammering delight after whose end the cervical muscles must recover first again.
