After the MCD has been released, there had been many rumours about if this has been definitely end like it was mentioned at the bands homepage. Many reviews have been finished with the words R.I.P. (we couldn't exclude us in this case) because after "In Advanced Haemorrhaging Conditions" was released there haven't been any news to hear. But suddenly and quite unexpected a not that much known but by many bands respected label called Bones Brigade Records gave all the fans the so much hoped for message: 1 record will come out. Well and exactly this record was right now blasting and gargling his way through my auditory canal like no goregrind record has done it since a long time. Comparing the 2 previous full length CDs and the 2005 released MCD with this actually and also now last CD with the name "Putrefaction In Progress" you'll directly notice that the obligatory and rather existing intros have been removed completely in aid of the gargling music. Ongoing they also didn't made the effort of creating tracks that alternate with ultra fast blasting parts and grooving parts. No, this time the bludgeon is dominating at every time and to 100 %. You could see the whole record as a curtly 25 minutes long continuous blasting track if you didn't know that there are altogether 41 tracks on "Putrefaction In Progress". Except for the final closing track there is no one that is able to snap the 1 minute barrier. In section you'll get for about 40 times a 35 seconds long clacker after another one whereas some tracks all but don't differentiate. The closing track on this record with the fitting and a clear message delivering title "A Divine Proclamation Of Finishing The Present Existence" is building the exemption with a runtime of 3 minutes and 11 seconds and for a last time it is hauling out everything from the shooting gallery of Marc, the deep into the rotten flesh sawing guitar and bass sounds from William and Rogier as well as the gargling vocals from Hans (who has redeemed Erwin on vocals). For a last time the snare and double base are cracking and banging everything into property in a typical LDOH style before the curtain is about to fall. I can't say much about the lyrics as you can't really understand a single thing because of the extremely guttural sounds but a short description text on the label site is telling us:" No breaks, no lyrics... only blast, blast and blast; a terrifying wall of noise..." I can only agree to this without thinking about it. I couldn't merge this CD in sort form any better. Well unfortunately this has been it. On the unify site I'm happy to see another monster of an record making its way to public, on the other side this record is ripping open old wounds again. Personally I was already very frat with the idea of having this band split-up. This idea has been put away for a 25 minutes long moment through this CD only to have someone get back on the ground of facts even more merciless after the last track has expired. Last Days Of Humanity are history and they will not come back. Rest in pieces, you sick fucks. You'll always own a place in my mutilated heart.
