Scarcely the Greeks from Inveracity have quit the contract with their old label Unmatched Brutality Records, they're shortly after it knocking at the door of the next decent underground Death Metal label and catching a new deal on Unique Leader Records. Their debut full length album "Circle Of Perversion" was one of the best suffocation styled albums of all time together with Pyaemias "Cerebral Cereal" in my opinion (I don't wanna describe both bands as an pure Suffocation clone, but you can't deny that they have been influenced much by them). On the new full length album "Extermination Of Millions" the guys have developed in a great way. Also the raw sound of the first album is history. The band sounds a way more technical and professional but even so brutal like on the old stuff. There's enough room for brutal straight to the face riffs, but the band was able to detach a little bit from their old example Suffocation. Instead of that, the band has copied a lot from their new label bosses Deeds Of Flesh. Seriously the new stuff really sounds like Deeds Of Flesh, but this isn't negative in my opinion, cause I have to confess that I'm a big fan of the Californians. But I think that Inveracity sounds more aggressive and diversified than Deeds. Most of you people will say that a new Deeds Of Flesh or Suffocation clone band is so important like the latest news about Paris Hilton and other celebrities. But in my view I think if someone plays this kind of style in such a great quality like Inveracity and is able to create killer Death Metal songs like for example "Visions Of Coming Apocalypse", then I'm never getting tired of this music. Besides that, someone should show me a new real Brutal Death Metal band that doesn't copy elements of other bands. Ok back to the album. Only the new singer George doesn't make the best job. Surely he's a very talented, good Death Metal singer, but I have to confess that I liked the voice of Mario, the singer of the first album way more. He was more aggressive and guttural in my opinion. But that's a matter of opinion. That's the only thing which I prefer on the first album. Apart from that I really like the further development and I'm glad that the band now had the chance to show the great new songs with an amazing sound production. In my personally view one of the best Death Metal albums of the year, and I'm happy that the band haven't put any Necrophagist styled guitar solos or some dumb Metalcore breakdowns into their songs to be more trendy. "Extermination Of Millions" is able to convince without playing any guitar solos and hardcore breakdowns. I think that this stuff wouldn't fit into this kind of Death Metal. On this record there is enough room for speed changes and killer riffing, which keeps you in a good mood for the whole playtime. The technical level of the band is meanwhile really good, but it never goes too technical. Also the lyrics are a little bit more ambitious and not only about detailed description's how to maltreat women. Some women also have to suffer on the new record again, but not so often like on the previous album. In general the presentation of the booklet is really poor in opposite of the great cover artwork of George Prassinis. They have put the lyrics on a black background, that's really creative haha. It's pity that the playtime is again short. After 31 minutes the show is over. That's a real shame, but this record is definitively the best stuff of this kind of Death Metal since Pyaemia. Ok dear fans of american styled Death Metal bands like Deeds Of Flesh, Pyaemia, Suffocation & Disavowed: buy or get castrated!
