| Ok friends of Goregrind, watch out. There's a new star shining on the heaven of the 1 man Goregrind bands. Even though Anatomically Incorrect Crackwhore is now insistence of three people, this release was done by Marc alone. "The Pattern Of Splatter Promo" consists of 16 blasting tracks, and the vocals are a mixture out of distorted shrieking and wheezing, with a slight touch of gargling. This is by all means not bad, but it could have been a little sicker if you ask me. The drum machine is blasting in best "Faeces Eruption" manner throughout the sujet, no real innovation here but also no compromise either. The guitar is the most interesting part since some of the riffs are really head bang-worthy whereas others are pretty trivial. The runtime is, considering this is a demo, totally all right, because the length of the songs range from one to two minutes, so at least there are no five-second- tracks. Generally the whole runtime of more than 23 minutes is pretty remarkable, as there are other bands in the Goregrind and Brutal Death genre that are not even able to get to this runtime with a full length album. After this demo, Anatomically Incorrect Crackwhore became bigger, are as aforementioned three people now and I'm pretty excited about how their future stuff will sound like. Until the next release I would like to have some slightly better vocals and guitar work here. But anyone who has already searched for five hours trying to find some descend Goregrind should take it into serious consideration to buy the "The Pattern Of Splatter Promo". |
